As myself and many of my peers came to experience our final moments in education, I wanted to use this project as an opportunity to look back at the beginning, where it all began...
Lunchtime was a dinner party hosted by me, that showcased and celebrated the foods we used to eat at school.
My dinner guests were able to sink into a state of nostalgia, as they reminisced about the good old days. Recounting various stories of dinner ladies and lunch hall antics, many a laugh was had.
Elegant tableware was used to elevate the guests’ experience; to mirror that heightened sense of nostalgia.
Lunchtime was held in our ‘school’, the studio at Knight’s Park, Kingston School of Art.
The event has been documented into an A2 laminated book. This includes photographs of the event, some words by me, and guest mementos.
